Boost Performance in Advanced Manufacturing with Plasma and Laser

This event brought together stakeholders from across the entire value chain: from technology providers such as IONICS Surface Technologies to end-users such as Husqvarna Group, as well as research centres, industrial companies, and innovation partners all sharing a common goal: leveraging plasma and laser technologies to create added value in advanced manufacturing.Throughout the afternoon, participants discovered inspiring examples and industrial applications covering additive manufacturing, high-performance materials, powder recycling, surface engineering, composites, advanced ceramics, and functional coatings.

The presentations highlighted how plasma and laser technologies can improve interlayer adhesion, enhance material performance, increase process reliability, and support more sustainable manufacturing practices.

A cross-project collaboration between VerAdMa, Tech4FAB-CROSS-S3, PEEK2Space and FTJ Remade, which brought together experts from industry and academia to share their knowledge, challenges and successes in Charleroi (Belgium) on 04/06/2026.
